How SIMEST can help Italian companies grow abroad

As a financial company of the Ministry of Economic Development, SIMEST offers loans at a reduced rate and contributions to a lost fund for Italian companies eager to open new branches or upgrade existing ones abroad.

With SIMEST, you can obtain funding for up to 5% of the average revenue of the last two balance sheets, with variable amounts depending on the size of the enterprise:

€ 500,000 for Micro Enterprises;
€ 2.500.000 for SMEs and innovative SMEs;
€ 3,500.000 for Other companies

The eligible expenditure is:

Acquisition, preparation and furniture of the commercial structure
Restructuring and/or extension of the commercial structure
Marketing and promotion
Training and staff update

The Simest Bando for Fairs and Events in December 2023 is your golden ticket to explore new business horizons! This lost and low-rate support is designed to help businesses, especially micro, small and medium, to shine during international events, even virtual.

Here's what you need to know:

For who? The call is dedicated to MPMI with registered and/or operational offices in Pavia that are looking to grow on the international market.
What expenditures are eligible? Covered expenses include participation in international trade fairs in Italy and abroad, strengthening the presence across the border, developing online sales channels and implementing digital marketing tools and promoting abroad.
How much are the Funds? The CCIAA in Pavia has put on the plate a generous fund of 100 thousand euros! A unique opportunity to give a boost to your international business.
How to participate? The companies concerned must commit at least 1,000 euros in international projects and will have the opportunity to obtain a lost fund contribution covering 50% of eligible costs, up to a maximum of 5,000 euros.
